Patrol officials say Dunbar was speeding east on the 10 Freeway near the Cactus City rest area the morning of August 15, 2009, when a tread on the rear tire of the van came apart and Dunbar lost control. The van skidded across both lanes, struck the raised asphalt curb and rolled several times before crashing through a barbed wire perimeter fence.

Girl, 2, critical after falling into pool

Police said the girl's father had been installing a pool fence at a house in the 7100 block of West Columbine Drive, northeast of 75th Avenue and Cactus Road, when the incident occurred.
